Product Description: Advanced Alkyd technology with oil linking to water pigmented with durable light-fast pigments.When compared to acrylic products, Monamel is smoother and more washable.
Intended Uses: An Interior / Exterior architectural semi-gloss enamel finish for properly prepared plaster, concrete, masonry, drywall, wood, metal and steel. Widely used for application on walls, ceilings, cupboards, doors and trim.
Gloss Level: Semi-Gloss (60°: 55 to 85)
Composition: Binder: Alkyd Resin
Spreading Rate (Gal): 31-41 m²/3.7L (330-440 ft²/3.7L)
Drying Time: Touch 1Hrs, Handle 4Hrs, Recoat: 24Hrs
Tools: Brush: Nylon or Polyester
Roller:5-10 mm
Spray: Tip .013-.017 in.
Application / Dilution: Ready to use / Up to 5% water if spraying
Clean-up: Water (Final rinse with Mineral Spirits)
VOC Level: <50g/L
Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry & free from dust, grease, mildew & wax. Remove any loose & peeling paint and repair with patching compound. New Wood or Drywall: Seal bare surface with appropriate Latex, Hybrid or Alkyd primer for better uniformity. Previously Painted Areas: Glossy surfaces should be sanded to a dull finish or prime with an appropriate primer to provide good adhesion.
